1. Havasupai Waterfall - Grand Canyon

Havasupai Waterfall is located in the northwestern America state of Arizona in the Grand Canyon. The Havasupai Waterfall is arguably the most famous and most visited of all the waterfalls and is considered one of the most photographed waterfalls in the world! Havasu means 'people of the blue green waters' and is the name given to the local Native American's who have inhabited the Grand Canyon for over 800 years. A trip to the Havasupai Waterfall is a must and don't forget that camera!

2. Niagara Falls - New York

The Niagara Falls are massive waterfalls located on the beautiful Niagara River between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York in Niagara Falls. Horseshoe Falls are located on the Canadian side and the American Falls are located on the American side of the falls. The Niagara Falls are spectacular waterfalls and world-renowned, not only for their beauty and being a major tourist attraction but they also provide a great source of hydroelectric power. 3. Yosemite Falls - California

The Highest waterfall in North America is widely known as the Yosemite Falls located in the Snowy Mountain Range of California. Yosemite Falls are in reality three separate waterfalls, the Upper Yosemite, Middle Cascades, and Lower Yosemite. A short journey on a shuttle bus will take you to the Lower Yosemite but you will need to hike for the best part of a day to reach the Upper Yosemite. Reaching heights of 2,425 feet in height the hike is well worth it when you take in the amazing surroundings and wonderful views.

4. Multnomah Falls - Oregon

The Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in the State of Oregon in the United States. The falls drop in two major levels, the upper falls measure 542 feet and the lower falls measure 69 feet with a 9 foot drop in between the two levels, the total height of the waterfall is conventionally given as 620 feet. At Multnomah Falls there is a footbridge (Benson Footbridge) located just above the split-level that allows visitors to cross 105 feet above the lower fall and offers spectacular views. There are two ways to get to the falls: Interstate 84 east and the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway.
